| Since childhood Cristiane always has had
an eye for the single and everyday moments of life, as if life
were a snapshot, ready to be captured; every activity that is
art-related would catch her attention: details, unusual angles
would be photographed on her mind and later would become art.

“Being a native of colorful and vibrant Brazil, being raised
in Rio de Janeiro, must be the reason why my paintings have such whimsical themes.”
Cristiane devoted her life and studies to Art, primarily in ateliers, later on
going to Architecture School and working with promotional architecture. She moved
to the USA and has been there for the last decade. Painting has become her life,
not only on canvas but also on the walls, perfecting techniques and learning restoration
of furniture; antiques also became her passion and hobby. Wherever there is the
simplicity of real life moments to be captured -- nature, colors, snapshots --
there will be Art, and painters immortalizing it.
